2excel printing operates FACE-OFF and is the data controller for personal information collected through it. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect and why

• Account details (email, login credentials) — if you create an account to buy packs or host admin tools. Purpose: create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract.
• Player names and game results — names you type and scores, shown on the public leaderboard. Purpose: run the game and leaderboard. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Room data — temporary room codes and buzz-in times. Purpose: run multiplayer rooms. Legal basis: contract / legitimate interests.
• Purchase records — which packs or plan you own. Purpose: unlock content. Legal basis: contract.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser info, error logs) — Purpose: security, fraud prevention and fixing problems. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — Purpose: answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Your settings, saved game and recently played questions are stored only on your own device (browser storage).

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host and run the app for us (hosting, database).
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above (account data while your account is active; purchase records as required by law), then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls.

Cookies and storage

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and save your game and settings. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser settings.
